TV Service

Iluka is serviced by an underground cabling system which provides local free-to-air analog and digital broadcasts and now the SelectTV pay TV service is also available.

Problems with your signal?

In some cases the original analog connection may not be sufficient to tune in to digital broadcasts to the high standard of clarity expected, this is particularly true if you have more than two connections in your house.  In this case you may need to install a signal booster.

To install new TV points, boosters or any issues including signal strength or service please contact e-wire on 1300 135 231.

What about Foxtel?

The question has been asked many times, why do Iluka residents need to install a satellite dish to subscribe to Foxtel when there is a perfectly good cable system already available? We checked with e-wire and their answer was ..."We have tried to talk to Foxtel in regards to using our cable network, however they prefer to use satellite where their own cable is not available (even though it would probably be cheaper for them to use our cable). Unfortunately Foxtel is still only available via satellite in Iluka".
