5th October 2005: Answers to AGM questions

Unfortunately, Paul Easthope, Satterley's Project Manager for Iluka was unable to attend the recent Annual General Meeting. A number of questions were forwarded to Paul after the meeting and his responses are as follows:

For how much longer will Satterley maintain the park?
The Owners intend to continue the maintenance of Sir James McCusker Park into the foreseeable future as it is seen as a major asset in the selling of lots within the estate.

What is the status of the proposed commercial site in Iluka?
The residential/commercial site at the western end of O'Mara Boulevard is some 3 - 5 years away. At this stage, analysis would suggest that any development will predominantly be residential in nature. However, the situation will be further reviewed closer to the release of these sites.

What work was taking place in the park recently?
The person working in the park some time back was a surveyor completing survey of the irrigation system to enable "as constructed" drawings to be completed. This will be required when the park is handed over to the City for maintenance

Where will the new display village be located?
A new Builders Display Village is to be located in Burns Beach Road, west of Delgado Parade. The developer will be constructing car parks on Burns Beach Road and advertising of the centre will direct traffic to use Marmion Avenue/Burns Beach Road. This should minimize any major impact on existing residents

Many thanks to Paul for answering these questions. If you have any further questions of the developers you can either contact Satterley directly or forward any questions through to the committee.
