Maintenance

Maintenance within Iluka is the joint responsibility of the Developer (Satterly) and the City of Joondalup. Satterly currently maintain the newer released areas, areas currently under development and designated areas around Sir James McCusker Park.

The remaining areas are maintained by private contractors who report directly to the City of Joondalup under the terms of the maintenance contract. These areas are mainitained to an enhanced standard and funded through additional resident contributions.

Maintenance Issues

Any residents who notice a maintenance issue, whether it is maintenance they believe has not been carried out satisfactily or requires urgent attention, are now able to report it directly to the City of Joondalup through the online Customer Request System (CRM).

We would encourage all residents to make use of this facility. The committee receive a monthly report (see below) listing all issues logged and actions taken which we review with CoJ Maintenance representatives.

Discovery Park Project [January 2012]

Rcentrly, with the addition of Discovery Park to the SAR areas, a capital works project was undertaken to enhance the landscaping within the park. Again, thanks to the CoJ Projects Technical Officer and contractors who executed the work. More details are available in the following document.

Naturaliste Boulevard Enhancement Project

Throughout April 2011 a major capital works project was undertaken to enhance the landscaping along Naturaliste Park in order to remove overgrown plants and improve the asthetics of this major thouroughfare into Iluka. We are sure residents will agree that the results are outstanding and the IHOA Committee would like to extend out gratitude to the CoJ Projects Technical Officer and contractors who planned and executed the work.
