The Iluka Home Owners Association

All owners of land in Iluka are automatically members of the ILUKA Home Owners Association. The duties of the Association are discharged by a committee of local residents who donate their time and skills to ensure that the high standards and quality of life we enjoy and have come to expect from the suburb of Iluka continues into the future.  The Committee is re-elected at an Annual General Meeting and all residents of Iluka are eligible to nominate themselves for election.

The Committee of the Home Owners Association has two main purposes:

1. Manage covenants for the area:
these specify what home owners can and can not do with their land and homes.  More»

2. Control the area maintenance:
Maintenance in Iluka is of a higher standard than is normally received in most areas.

This includes the spending of locally paid Specified Area Rate (SAR) funds on verges, median strips and entries into the area.   Most funds are spent on shrub and general maintenance, mowing and reticulation.

The Committee does not control maintenance of public open spaces such as James McCusker Park, which are maintained by Joondalup Council and/or the Developers, nor do we have any responsibility for security patrols or for the Underground Cabling System.

The committee can be contacted by email at committee@iluka.org.au.
